Zoltraak

Zoltraak is the original "piercing magic" spell, forming into that of a beam of light, repurposed by both demons and humans to kill one another, appearing as either a white or black beam according to its version, thus dealing Necrotic or Radiant Damage. When cast this spell shoots a single beam, dealing 1d8 damage upon hit. At higher levels this spell may choose to either target multiple points or to be concentrated into a single blast, when choosing to shoot multiple beams you must roll to hit for each beam. This spell shoots 2 beams or does 2d8 at 5th level, three beams or 3d8 at 11th level, and four beams or 4d8 at 17th level.
