Arctic Blast

Frosty arctic winds stir around a member of the kuhl family as this is one of the lineages lost spells, when a member of the family experiences strong emotional distress that they harbor spews forth almost uncontrollably coalescing into one solitary point in front of the caster. When all the energy has collected it blasts forward in a 60 foot line doing 6d8 damage at 3rd level and increasing by one damage die for every level slot used above 3rd. Creatures hit by this spell must make a dexterity saving throw taking 6d8 damage on a failed save and half as much on a success. If the saving throw is failed the target is frozen in place and must make a dc 13 strength saving throw in order to break free. If frozen the targets speed becomes 0 and its actions must be used in order to break free.
