Write an arcane circle on a flat surface to conjure an image. This does not affect the location of the spell itself. If the circle is destroyed, the spell is dispelled. Create an illusion of a creature that has been seen before by the caster that is no longer than a 10 foot cube. This illusion can shift in place but creates nothing other than a visual effect and it can not leave the spell's effect radius. Both the illusion and the circle can be detected by magic. Once the spell ends, the circle is destroyed and when cast as a ritual spell, the duration of the spell is extended by 1 minute per player level.
Any target that comes within a 10 foot cube of the illusion must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, apply one of three effects. Cast Sleep on the target using 4d8 lasting for 1 minute, cast Shield on the target, applying an AC bonus of +3 against the next attack against that target (this effect dissipates if the encounter ends), or cast 2d10 fire damage onto the target. The chosen effect can be reapplied on each of the caster's turns to any target within the 10 foot cube. Only one of the chosen effects can be applied per casting.
When cast with a spell slot above 3, the Sleep effect gains 2d8 per level, the Shield effect gains +1 AC per level, and the fire damage effect gains 1d10 per level. When cast at spell slot 7 or higher, any creature capable of seeing the image within 60 foot has to make a Wisdom saving throw. If failed, the target is forced to approach the illusion (this can be stopped by out-side means, such as if successfully attacked or grappled). If it would take multiple turns to reach the illusion, then make a Wisdom saving throw each turn. If the Wisdom saving throw is passed, the spell wouldn't lose it's chosen effect. When the Sleep effect is used more than twice at spell slot 7 or higher, the circle is destroyed (this does not cancel the Sleep effect). When the Shield effect is used more than twice at spell slot 5 or higher, the circle is destroyed (this does not remove the Shield effect).
