A 30-foot-radius purple sphere of Void energy surrounds you. This area is protected from anything that the spell deems dangerous to the user, even if the user itself doesn't know of it. Within the sphere, spells can't be cast, summoned creatures disappear, and even magic items become mundane. Until the spell ends, the sphere remains in place, centered around the area in which it was cast.

Spells and physical attacks within the area are slowed if done with the intent to kill the user until their speed reaches zero, magical spells already active within the spell are instantaneously dispelled and their remaining magic is absorbed into the spell to act as further fuel which buffs it, spells of varying levels increase the effect by additional amount of turns.

Effects (from absorbed spells):

  • Level 1-3: Spell lasts an additional turn (per level)
  • Level 4+: spell lasts 3 extra turns, and provides player with an Over shield (temporary hit points (last 5 turns)) equivalent to 1d12 per additional spell level.

If the player remains in the sphere and maintains their attention on the spell will last for 5 turns (+2 turns per level higher than 3), if the player focuses on other things and leaves the sphere, it will last the entire 5 turns but will not gain the benefit of casting at a higher level.

If cast while the player is wearing a full set of heavy armor, The sphere area increases from 30 feet to 45 feet and the over shield it provides is set to a minimum of 20 hit points even if no spells are absorbed.

If the player is using a heavy (2-handed) weapon while the spell is active, a buff called weapons of dawn becomes active they deal an additional 1d8 necrotic damage for every additional level of the spell above level 3.
