When you touch a dead creature, the creature spirit is encased in the orb for 6d6 hours until returning back to a generated body.

The creature must have been dead for no more than 24 hours and can't have died of old age, and the creature cant be undead or construct.
During the time the creatures spirit in the orb: The creatures point of sight is the orb, the creature can communicate normally via voice with other creatures outside the orb (the creature cant make hand jesters or point), the creatures head is only visible in the orb.
If the orb is broken (cant be broken if on creature) the creatures time of death is moved to when the orb is shattered, and the orb pieces are a technical part of its body.
After the 6d6 hours are up, the orb shatters with light and the creatures original body is in an unoccupied space within 5 feet. After revival, creature now 1 hit point and has 5 level exhaustion which can be negated when feed food and water.

Explanation of use: Level 1 parties are easily prone to death, this is a perfect narrative solution that allows parties to revive dead teammates, but at a cost of a new quest to protect the orb.
