You bind a creature with the searing hot string of a magical instrument. A red hot lyre string appears around the neck (or body if the creature doesn't have a neck) of a creature within range. 

A creature takes 3d10 fire damage at the start of their turn. Until the spell ends, you can use an action on each of your subsequent turns to tighten the string, dealing 2d12 Slashing damage and increasing the damage taken at the start of a creature's turn by 1d10. 

As an action, an affected creature can make a Strength saving to break free of the binding. On a successful save, the spell ends. 

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th or higher, the starting fire damage increases by 1d10 for each slot above 4th.
