The caster has to be a species Myconid, or another spore bearing species.
Upon casting the caster will release a cloud of spores from their body, and anyone within a 35ft range with the Cordyceps fungus. allowing the caster to take control of the target. if the target is hit within the first 3 turns of being infected, the spell will lose its effect until re-casted. if the spell is not dispelled within 3 turns, the afflicted target will spout mushroom horns from their head, which at this point it becomes permanent until the creature expends all hit points.
Living targets have a chance to resist being controlled each turn, granted even if resisted they are still infected. if resisted the infected person may go about their turn with disadvantage on attacking the caster
If casted on a dead body of any species it will immediately take effect. allowing the caster complete control of the cadaver. still will the same 3 turn buffer to dispel the fungal infection.
for each higher level casted, increase save by 1
