You weave subtle illusion magic into water, altering its appearance.
Choose a volume of water you can see within range that fits within a 5-foot cube. You change the color of the water to any shade or pattern you choose.
The color can be:
-
A single solid color
-
A gradient or swirling pattern
-
Multiple shifting colors (such as rainbow hues)
The illusion moves naturally with the water as it flows or splashes.
The effect lasts for 1 hour, or until you cast this spell again.
A creature that closely examines the water can determine it is magical with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
Additional Effects
You can also cause the water’s color to slowly shift over time, creating moving patterns, glowing effects, or rippling light within the liquid.
This spell cannot change the water’s taste, temperature, or physical properties.
Flavor
The water shimmers as if infused with liquid light, reflecting colors that swirl and dance across its surface.
