Balefire

You throw a poison-infused bolt of fire at a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 fire damage and 1d4 poison damage. They also become poisoned until the start of their next turn. A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried.

This spell's damage increases by 2d4 (1d4 fire and 1d4 poison) when you reach 5th level (4d4 or 2d8), 11th level (6d4 or 4d6), and 17th level (4d8).
