You unleash invisible cursed slashes that tear through space itself. Choose one creature you can see within range. You decide whether the strike manifests as Dismantle or Cleave.
Dismantle. You fire a razor-thin arc of destructive force toward the target. Make a ranged spell attack against the creature. On a hit, the target takes 6d8 force damage as invisible blades slice through them.
Cleave. If the target is a creature wearing armor or has natural armor, the attack adapts to cut through its defenses. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 8d8 force damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage. The damage from this spell counts as magical slashing force that ignores resistance to nonmagical slashing damage.
