Hand of the Morning

Sunlight fills your hand, allowing you to sear a creature you can touch with divine light. Make a melee spell attack in order to touch, strike or grapple, dealing 2d4 Radiant damage on a hit.

This spell can be cast while already grappling as a bonus action. Before the target takes damage in this way, both you and the target must roll Athletics to maintain or break the grapple.

Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases by 2d4 when you reach levels 5 (4d4), 11 (6d4), and 17 (8d4).
