You gain an animalistic traits in both appearance and ability. When you cast this spell, choose one of the traits below; you take on those traits for the duration of the spell.  

  1. Amphibious: You gain gills; you can breathe air and water.
  2. Climbing. You grow tiny hooked claws that give you gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
  3. Keen Senses. Your eyes and ears become more sensitive. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks.
  4. Swimming. You gain fins and webbing between your fingers and toes; you gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
  5. Tough Hide. Your skin becomes as tough as leather; you gain a +2 bonus to AC.
  6. Natural Weapons. You gain claws, a tail, teeth, or some other natural melee weapon to augment your unarmed strikes. The weapon's attack and damage bonus are based on your strength and it deals 1d8 damage (you choose whether it deals bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing. 
  7. Long Limbs. Your limbs become lanky, giving you an extra 5 ft. of reach on your melee attacks. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell with a slot of 2nd level or higher, choose one additional effects from the list for each spell level above 1. If you cast this spell using a slot of 2nd level or higher, add the following options to the list:

8. Night vision. Your eyes change to those of a cat or some other nocturnal animal, and you gain darkvision out to 60 ft.
9. Blindsight. You have antennae or feelers of some kind that give you blindsight out to 10 ft.  

If you cast this spell using a slot of 3rd level or higher, add the following option to the list: 

10. Flight. You sprout a pair of wings from your back, gaining a flight speed equal to your walking speed.
