When in heavy foliage or plant growth of any kind that has branches, vines, appendages or other such limbs or fronds, you can forcefully command the nearby foliage to heed your call. When you cast this spell and as an action on each of your turns, you can command the plants in a 10-foot radius sphere centered on a point that you can see within 30 feet to do one of the following:
- Succeed a Dexterity Saving Throw or take 3d6 slashing or piercing damage, or half as much on a success from nearby vines, roots and branches lashing out.
- Succeed a Strength Saving Throw or become Restrained by the nearby vines, roots and branches until the end of their next turn. Creatures who succeed still have their movement speed reduced by 10 feet until the end of their next turn.
