You fire a volley of fire bolts of dry crackling heat into the air and choose a point within range. Hundreds of smalls blazing spheres of flame fall in a volley from above and then disappear. Each creature in a 80-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 12d8 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Those on the outer edge of the volleys falling radius have advantage while the most inner targets within the spells fall off have disadvantage, and leave on the ground flaming residue of ground, those within the field of flames take 1d6 per round while remaining within the area of effect.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 and damage from the AOE increases 1d6 for each slot level above 6th
