This is a personal spell, so please don't mind the fact i dont have very specific things for damage. Come up with your own things for your campaigns and see how things work out. I recommend giving your DM control over the spell for your campaign since this is my first spell, and idk how powerful it is.

Capture elements is a spell mainly favored by artificers for its ability to capture elements and other kinds of magic, including fire, frost, lightning, poison, thunder, radiant, and necrodic. The spell allows the user to capture any element in sight when it is captured a ring of sybols surround it created out of a glowing magic writing. The magic circle created then forms barrier magic around the element coming out of the circle, it surrounds it and shrinks down to a smaller orb where it flies at the caster or, if you want to use your bonus action, another person. It floats around the person who cast the spell or who specified it to be brought to. The spell can also be replicated by warlocks and wizards, depending on how much of the element there is. This is if they don't have it as a cantrip, so if they want, they can write the magic circle out themselves. When the person who has the orb is attacked, the orb has a chance to crack or shatter. The more it's cracked, the higher the chance is that it shatters. When an orb shatters, the element inside is released and, within a 5 ft radius, creates a small explosion of that damage type 5 ft radius. The orbs can stack, and there is no limit to how many you have. If you are a wizard or warlock, you can use your action to throw an orb; however, it also takes your bonus action as it takes a magical spell to pull it away. If the orb is taken or disturbed in any other way, it shatters. During a long or short rest, orbs can be transferred with care or used for creating magical items. Artificers can create multiple magic items using these orbs, and wizards and warlocks have the ability to channel spells without expending a spell slot if they use a certain element. The more they use it, the higher the spell slot. This is limited, though, as every time you want to use this as a wizard/warlock, you must use your bonus action before to grab an orb without breaking it and combine it into one larger orb. You can only grab 1 orb at a time, so to cast like a ninth-level spell, you might be standing there for more than 10 turns.

Available For: Warlock Wizard Artificer
