With a roar, you draw on the magic of metallic dragons to transform yourself, taking on draconic features. Choose 1 metallic dragon type to draw power from: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper, or Brass. While the spell is active, your head appears covered in scales of the selected dragon type. You gain the following benefits until the spell ends:
Blindsight. You have Blindsight with a range of 30ft. If you already have Blindsight, its range increases by 30ft.
Wings. Incorporeal wings sprout from your back, giving you a flying speed of 60ft.
Breath Weapon. When you cast this spell, and as a bonus action on subsequent turns for the duration, you can exhale shimmering energy in a 60-foot cone. The effect of the breath depends on which metallic dragon you're drawing power from:
- Gold: Weakening Breath. Each creature caught in the cone makes a Strength saving throw. On a fail, the target has Disadvantage on Strength-based D20 Tests and subtracts 1d6 from its damage rolls. It repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
- Silver: Paralyzing Breath. Each creature caught in the cone makes a Constitution saving throw. First Failure: The target has the Incapacitated condition until the end of its next turn, when it repeats the save. Second Failure: The target has the Paralyzed condition. It repeats the save at the end of each of its turn, ending the effect on a success.
- Bronze: Repulsion Breath. Each creature caught in the cone makes a Strength saving throw. On a fail, the target is pushed up to 60 feet straight away from you and has the Prone condition.
- Copper: Slowing Breath. Each creature caught in the cone makes a Constitution saving throw. On a fail, the target can’t take Reactions; its Speed is halved; and it can take either an action or a Bonus Action on its turn, not both. This effect lasts until the end of its next turn.
- Brass: Sleep Breath. Each creature caught in the cone makes a Constitution saving throw. First Failure: The target has the Incapacitated condition until the end of its next turn, at which point it repeats the save. Second Failure: The target has the Unconscious condition for 10 minutes. This effect ends for the target if it takes damage or a creature within 5 feet of it takes an action to wake it.
As a Magic action, you can switch to a different dragon type listed in this spell.
