You coat the ground in your own blood, causing up to three concentric rings of thorns to emerge in an expanding radius. You take 1d8 necrotic damage, which can’t be reduced in any way, and a 5-foot-radius, 5-foot high cylinder of thorns emerges. Each creature other than you within range takes 2d6 piercing damage, then you may repeat this process twice more, each time increasing the radius of the ring of thorns by 5 feet (to a 10-foot-radius 5-foot high cylinder, then a 15-foot-radius 5-foot high cylinder).
Afterwards, each creature that took piercing damage from two or more rings of thorns must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 3d12 necrotic damage at the end of its next turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the necrotic damage dealt as a result of failing the Constitution save increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 4th.
