You scatter blood onto the ground, creating pools of bloodflame in a line up to 30 feet long and 5 feet wide at a point you can see within range. You take 2d6 necrotic damage, which can't be reduced in any way, as you throw your blood to form the line, which burns for the duration. You may have the line oriented however you choose, although it must remain entirely within the range of the spell.

The blood sears creatures that it passes as it reaches its destination; each creature in the area between both ends of the line and your position (including the area of the line itself) must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The line of bloodflame causes creatures in its area to hemorrhage. A creature takes 2d6 fire damage and must make a Constitution saving throw when it enters the line of bloodflame for the first time on its turn or starts its turn there. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d12 necrotic damage at the end of its turn.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the fire damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
