You dip your finger or brush into a color that exists in your mind and touch a non-magical object or surface. You alter the color, shade, and pattern of the object however you see fit, creating flawless gradients, complex images, or perfect camouflage.

The paint is not physically raised and cannot be felt by running a hand over it; it perfectly mimics the texture of the underlying surface. The illusion is purely visual and cannot change the actual shape or brightness of the object.
