Briefly surrounded by billowing flames, you teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see. A trail of flames erupts on the ground in a straight line between your space of origin and your destination, lasting until the start of your next turn.

A creature or an object that isn't being worn or carried takes 2d6 Fire damage if it enters the trail for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot: Your teleportation range increases by 10 feet, and the damage increases by 1d6, for each spell slot level above 3rd.
