You point at 3 locations within range, and a glowing, 3-inch-diameter ball of acid streaks to each of the points and explodes in a 10-foot Cube. Each creature in that area makes a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d4 Acid damage and is covered in acid. Any creature that is covered in acid made by this spell makes the save at the end of each of its turns, taking the damage again on a failed save and ending the effect on itself on a successful save. On a successful save, a creature takes half the initial damage only.
The explosion covers all surfaces in the affected area in acid. Whenever a creature touches one of the covered surfaces for the first time during its turn or whenever it starts its turn there, a creature takes 6d4 acid damage and is covered in acid.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The initial damage increases by 2d4 for each spell slot level above 5.
