You conjure a horrific 20-foot-radius bog of toxic green vapor centered on a point you can see within range.
The area becomes:
- heavily obscured
- difficult terrain
- filled with hallucinogenic poison
A creature entering the cloud for the first time on a turn or starting its turn there must make a Constitution saving throw.
On a failed save:
- takes 3d6 poison damage
- becomes poisoned until the start of its next turn
- suffers vivid hallucinations
While hallucinating, the creature:
- hears accusatory whispers
- sees visions of regret and failure
- has disadvantage on Wisdom and Charisma checks
If the save fails by 5 or more:
the creature also becomes incapacitated until the end of its turn as it retches violently.
Creatures immune to poison are immune to the hallucination effects.
A moderate wind disperses the cloud after 1 round. A strong wind immediately disperses it.
At Higher Levels
When cast using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the poison damage increases by 1d6 per slot level above 5th.
