Casting the spell
You unleash all remaining blood power in a violent detonation. When you cast this spell, you must spend all remaining Vitality Points (VP). If you have fewer than 3 VP, you may spend Hit Points through your Lifeburn feature until you reach 3 VP.
Each creature within a 30 foot sphere centered on you, including yourself, must make a Constitution saving throw. This saving throw is made with disadvantage. On a failed save, a creature takes 1d6 necrotic damage per VP spent. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage. You take half of the final damage dealt to you by this spell.
The damage from this spell ignores resistance and immunity to necrotic damage.
A creature that fails the saving throw has disadvantage on Constitution saving throws until the end of its next turn.
Blood Reclamation
When a creature dies as a result of this spell, you regain Hit Points equal to your Constitution modifier multiplied by the creature's Challenge Rating (minimum 1).
Backlash
If this spell reduces you to 0 Hit Points, you immediately gain one failed death saving throw.
Overcasting the spell
This spell cannot be overcast. All VP must be spent when casting it.
