Unleash an unavoidable slash upon a target within range, dealing 4d8 slashing damage. A successful hit rends through their defenses, dealing an additional 1d4 (Necrotic, Fire, Lightning, Radiant, or cold) damage for every two points of Armor Class they possess rounding down.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.
