A 10-foot Emanation in the shape of a hut slowly forms around you over the course of casting the spell and then remains stationary for the duration. The spell fails when you cast it if the hut isn’t big enough to fully encapsulate all creatures in its area. The Emanation has the appearance of an old hovel made from materials native to the area, and includes many windows one can only see out of from the inside.
Creatures and objects within the hut when you cast the spell can move through the front or back door freely. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells of level 3 or lower can’t be cast through it, and the effects of such spells can’t extend into it. The atmosphere inside the hut is comfortable and dry, regardless of the weather outside. Until the spell ends, you can command the interior to have Dim Light or Darkness (no action required). The spell ends early if you leave the hut if you cast the spell again.
When cast at 4th level: The Emanation has a radius of15-feet on the outside, and 25-feet on the inside. Creatures within 100 ft that see the hut are met with the feeling that an entity living there is not to be trifled with. To approach the hovel further requires a Cha save set by the spellcasters spell DC. You can now designate new creatures that can use the front door to enter after having cast the spell. This designation can be removed at any time. This version of the spell may be cast as a ritual if the spellcaster has 6th level spell slots.
When cast at 5th level: The Emanation can be up to 20-feet on the outside. The interior has a second floor with rooms, comfortable furniture, an invisible attendant who will assist with tasks, and there is food ready to eat in the kitchen. The spell now has a duration of 24 hours, and the same hovel can be maintained in its current form by recasting the spell at the same level before the duration expires. This version of the spell may be cast as a ritual if the spellcaster has 7th level spell slots.
When cast at 7th level: The spell has the benefits of Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion, yet still has the appearance of a hovel on the outside that can be range in size from a 10-feet in radius to 20-feet. This version of the spell may be cast as a ritual if the spellcaster has 9th level spell slots.
