The castor eats a portion of another creatures corpse resulting in temporary fortitude. an unholy strength pours into the caster and gives them 1d12 for each con modifer plus twice their spellcasting modifer in temporary hp points. because of the unholy strength obtained the caster loses their max hp until the end of a long rest in an amount equal to the temporary hp given but only when the spell duration ends.
