You draw spilled blood into the air and unleash it as a toxic, piercing downpour. To cast this spell, there must be either a creature that has blood and has taken piercing or slashing damage within the last minute, or the corpse of a creature that died within the last minute, within 30 feet of the point you choose for the spell.
Each creature in a 20-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point you choose within range must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d8 piercing damage and 3d8 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The ground in the cylinder becomes slick with blood and is difficult terrain until the end of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the piercing damage and acid damage each increase by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
