This spell repairs simple damage in an object you touch, such as a frayed rope, a damaged manacle, a torn robe, or a leaking bucket. As long as the break or tear is no larger than 1 foot in any dimension, you mend it, leaving no trace of the former damage.
This spell can physically repair a magic item, but it can’t restore magic to such an object.
When used to repair a construct (such as an Eldritch Cannon or Homunculus Servant) that you created, the casting time is reduced to 1A.
