3rd Level

While touching the blood of a creature in combination with your own, chant 'Scientia sanguinis, Memoria sanguinis, Mecum communica, Sanguis meus porta'.

This will allow you to see the recent memories of the creature, and possibly how it died if the blood is of a deceased creature. 

As a result, you take 1d4 damage 

5th Level

Using a 5th-level spell slot, you can search through all the memories of a creature.

As a result, you take 1d4 damage 

10th Level

Using a 10th-level spell slot and providing more blood from the creature and yourself, you can see the memories of close blood relatives of the creature.

As a result, you take 2d4 damage

15th Level

Using a 15th-level spell slot, you may see the memories of ALL the creature's bloodline relatives. This will require a significant amount of blood from both the creature and yourself, depending on how many generations back are being seen.

As a result, you take 3d4 damage
