You pull a memory from your mind and transform it into a tangible string of glowing energy as a tiny, weightless, semisolid object that can be held and carried like a ribbon, you can ready this strand in order to use the spell as a reaction. To cast, the caster mutters an activating word causing the ribbon to split into multiple strands and forces itself into the heads of the targeted creatures sending them into a state of sadness and depression. Roll 5d12; the total is how many hit points of creatures this spell can affect. At the discretion of the DM, if the caster uses a particularly sad or depressing memory (keep in mind, once a memory has been granted this advantage it cannot be granted again to this memory) they can reroll half of the d12's used to calculate spell hit points (rounded up). Creatures within a 20 foot cone are affected in ascending order of their current hit points (ignoring unconscious creatures).  When affected, creatures receive a penalty of -1 to their AC and any attack rolls made, but the spell ends if affected creatures take damage. Affected creatures also take disadvantage on any charisma saving throws and any charisma check made against any affected creature gain advantage. They also receive one level of exhaustion.

Starting with the creature that has the lowest current hit points, each creature affected by this spell are sent into a state of sadness and depression and become unmotivated until the spell ends, the affected takes damage, or someone uses an action to console the depressed, a creature under this spells affect cannot console another creature. Subtract each creature's hit points from the total before moving on to the creature with the next lowest hit points. A creature's hit points must be equal to or less than the remaining total for that creature to be affected.

Undead and creatures immune to being charmed aren't affected by this spell.

This spell can be used outside of combat in order to unknowingly bring tiredness, sadness,  a lack of motivation, or a sense of dread upon one or more humanoid creatures.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, roll an additional 2d12 and subtract 1 from the affected AC and attack rolls for each slot level above 1st.

* - (A sad or depressed memory from the caster )
