Aether Spear

A line of pure magical force strikes out in a 50-foot-long, 5-foot-wide line in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d8 Force damage and gaining the stunned condition until the start of your next turn on a failed save, or half as much damage only on a success.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 2d8 for each spell slot level above 2.
