You speak a command to a creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or follow the command immediately. The spell has no effect if the target cannot hear you. You can cast power words using this spell but you will be forced to consume a spell slot of the same level to the original spell or be forced to take 1d6 damage for each level lower spell slot you consume. (e.g. Power Word: Kill is a 9th level spell and if casted with a 6th level spell slot, you would take 3d6 damage.)

You automatically unlearn all other spells after learning this one, you cannot learn or prepare any other spells after learning this one, and you cannot cast any other spells other than this one that require a verbal component. After learning this spell, tattoos will appear around your mouth and on your tongue, signaling that you are a user of cursed speech.

This spell is automatically cast by the caster whenever they speak a command towards another creature.

Some typical commands and their effects follow. You might issue a command other than one described here. If you do so, the DM determines how the target behaves. If the target can't follow your command, the spell does not work.

Come Here. The target moves toward you by the shortest and most direct route, ending its turn if it moves within 5 feet of you.

Drop. The target drops whatever it is holding and then ends its turn.

Run. The target spends its turn moving away from you by the fastest available means.

Fall Over. The target falls prone and then ends its turn.

Don't Move. The target is paralyzed and then ends its turn.

Blast Away. The target flies back 10ft, this does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Your DM will determine the level of spell slot that is consumed based on the CR rating of the target of the spell and the level of danger or severity of the command and is able to consume no spells slots and act as a cantrip on very weak enemies. If the DM determines the spell will consume a spell slot of a level you do not have, it will consume the next lowest level spell slot and you will take an amount of damage determined by the DM.
