In an area of 15 feet surrounding the spellcaster, so long as one or more light sources are casting shadows, you may absorb those shadows, causing all shadows to disappear as if nothing blocks the light source.  For the duration of the spell any new shadow that would be created within that 15 foot area by any object also disappears.
