You create three illusory ravens that fly out from you towards a target of your choice that you can see. Only you and the target can see the ravens. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature believes that the crows are attacking it, and the creature takes 3d10 psychic damage. On a successful save, the creature sees the ravens for the illusions that they really are, and takes no damage.
If you speak in Witchtongue when you cast this spell, the ravens can instead appear to originate from elsewhere instead of flying out from you. For example, the ravens may appear to you and the target to originate from out of the mouths of corpses or from trees.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 1st level or higher, the psychic damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 3rd.
