You make a ranged spell attack to hurl a large globule of sticky, magical glue at a creature within range. If the attack hits, the target is restrained and cannot take reactions. A glued creature can attempt to break free at the start of each of their turns by making a successful Strength saving throw. When the creature breaks free, they take 3d4 slashing damage as the glue tears from their body. If your ranged attack roll scored a critical hit or exceeded the target's AC by 5 or more, the Strength saving throw is made with disadvantage and the slashing damage they take is doubled upon a success. The target can also be freed with a dose of Universal Solvent, or by taking 20 acid damage. The glue dissolves when the target breaks free or at the end of 1 minute.
Alternatively, this adhesive can be used to glue an object to a solid surface or another object. In this case, the spell works like a single application of Sovereign Glue and lasts for 1 hour.
