Each creature of your choice in the Emanation must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Spell Save DC.
On a failed save, a creature takes 5d8 Piercing damage and is pushed up to 10 feet directly away from you.
On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed.
Bloodletting — 7 Hit Points. When you cast this spell, you can pay its Blood Cost. After the spell resolves, choose one creature that failed its saving throw. You can immediately Bloodstep to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of that creature without taking a Bonus Action or expending a use of Bloodstep.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 3rd.
