You fold the material into a zhézhǐ figure and animate it. The zhézhǐ is a Tiny object with 2 Hit Points.

As a Bonus Action, you can mentally command one zhézhǐ you created with this spell within 60 feet of you to move up to its Speed.

When the spell ends, all zhézhǐ created by this spell become inanimate and unfold. You can have up to five zhézhǐ at a time. If you create a sixth, one zhézhǐ of your choice becomes inanimate and unfolds.

Choose one of the following shapes when you create the zhézhǐ:

Butterfly. The butterfly has a Fly Speed of 20 feet. When you create it, you can name a type of flower or plant. If a flower or plant of that type exists within 200 feet of the butterfly, the butterfly flies toward the nearest one by the most direct route. When it reaches the flower or plant, it lands, becomes inanimate, and unfolds.

Crane. The crane has a Fly Speed of 30 feet. When you create it, you can name a location within 1 mile that you have previously visited. If you do so, the crane flies toward that location by the most direct route. When it reaches the location, it lands, becomes inanimate, and unfolds. If the crane can't reach the destination, it continues flying in that direction until the spell ends, at which point it becomes inanimate and unfolds.

Dragon Boat. The boat has a Swim Speed of 20 feet and can carry one Tiny object weighing no more than 1 pound. When you create it, you can name a location within 1 mile that you have previously visited. If you do so, the boat travels toward that location by the most direct water route. When it reaches the location, it deposits its cargo, becomes inanimate, and unfolds. If the boat can't reach the destination, it continues traveling in that direction until the spell ends, at which point it becomes inanimate and unfolds.

Guardian Lion. The lion has a Speed of 25 feet. When a creature hostile to you enters a space within 10 feet of the lion, the lion moves up to its Speed toward that creature and emits a loud roar that can be heard up to 120 feet away. The lion then becomes inanimate and unfolds.

Lotus. The flower remains open during the day and closed at night. At sunrise, it slowly opens, and at sunset, it slowly closes. While open, it sheds Dim Light in a 5-foot radius. For the duration, the area within a 30-foot radius around the flower is cleansed of all foul smells.

Toad. The toad has a Speed of 10 feet. If a body of water is within 200 feet of the toad, the toad leaps toward the nearest one by the most direct route. When it reaches the water, it enters it and remains there for the duration. After 1 minute in the water, if the water is contaminated, the toad turns green and purifies up to 1 pint of water. If the water is poisoned, the toad turns black and absorbs a sample of the poison. When the spell ends, the material retains any absorbed substance.

Warrior. The warrior has a Speed of 10 feet. Its spear points toward the nearest castle, fortress, or other fortified structure within 1 mile, if any. Its head always points north. If you create multiple warriors, each warrior's shield faces toward the nearest other warrior.
