Arcane Claw

A glowing claw forms around your hand as you swipe towards a target in range. Choose one of the folloing damage types; Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning or Thunder then make a melee spell attack against a target. You have advantage on the attack roll if the target is resistant to the damage type ypou chose. On a hit, the target takes 5d8 damage of the type you chose.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
