Dozens of enormous primordial quills explode from your shoulders, spine, arms, and hips. Each spine is a tapering shard of amber-gold biological matter, giving your silhouette the appearance of a monstrous luminous porcupine.
You curl your body inward and hurl yourself into a supernatural rolling charge.
Move up to 30 feet as part of casting this spell. This movement doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks, and you can move through the spaces of creatures that are Large or smaller. You can't end this movement in an occupied space.
Whenever you move within 5 feet of a creature during this movement, that creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature makes this save only once per casting.
On a failed save, the creature takes 4d8 Piercing damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage.
After the movement ends, your quills snap apart and vanish in a spray of golden fragments.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 3.
