You channel primordial Crucible force through the weapon used as the spell's material component.
The weapon becomes unnaturally light in your grasp and begins rotating with impossible speed around your hand. Spiraling bands of amber-gold energy wrap around the weapon until blade and light become a circular vortex.
You complete the rotation by driving the weapon into the ground.
Each other creature within 10 feet of you must make a Strength saving throw.
On a failed save, a creature takes 5d8 Force damage and has the Prone condition. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage and isn't knocked Prone.
The impact releases the accumulated energy as a circular golden shockwave that ripples through the ground before fading.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 3.
