Damage/Effect

You touch a willing creature, granting it the ability to walk through the air as though it were solid ground.

The target can move upward or downward at an angle of up to 45 degrees, treating the air as a solid surface. While moving upward or downward, its walking speed is halved.

Wind. Strong or stronger winds can push or impede the target. At the end of each of the target's turns, a strong wind pushes it 5 feet in the direction the wind is blowing. A severe wind pushes it 10 feet, and a gale-force wind pushes it 20 feet. The DM may determine that exceptionally turbulent winds impose additional effects, such as preventing the target from moving in a particular direction or causing it to lose control of its movement.

Ending the Spell. If the spell ends while the target is still airborne, it doesn't immediately fall. Instead, the target descends at a rate of 60 feet per round for 1d6 rounds. If it reaches the ground during this descent, it lands safely. If it hasn't reached the ground after 1d6 rounds, it falls the remaining distance normally.

The same gradual descent occurs if the spell is dispelled. If the target is within an antimagic field, however, the spell's magic is suppressed and the target falls normally.

Mounts. You can cast this spell on a trained mount, allowing it to be ridden through the air. A mount unfamiliar with air walking may require training before it can move confidently while affected by this spell.
