You forcefully project your mind into the mathematical weave of reality, viewing the immediate future as a raw integer of probability. Choose up to four creatures that you can see within range. The mystical, total capabilities of these targets are instantly recalculated, divided, and distributed.
When you cast the spell, and as an action on each of your turns for the duration, you must choose one of the following geometric equations to apply to the targets
1. The Quotient of Vitality (Divide Hit Points)
You perceive the collective life force of the chosen targets as a singular pool and divide it evenly.
- Add the current hit points of all targets together.
- Divide the total by the number of targets.
- Each target's current hit points instantly become equal to this quotient.
- Note: If this quotient exceeds a creature's maximum hit points, the excess is granted as temporary hit points that last for the duration of the spell. If a creature is immune to magic that alters its hit points, it is excluded from the math, and the pool is divided among the remaining targets.
2. The Quotient of Velocity (Divide Movement)
You fracture the targets' kinetic energy, limiting their physical output based on the slowest among them.
- Locate the target with the lowest walking speed.
- For the duration, divide the movement speeds of all other targets so that they exactly match this lowest value.
- The difference in kinetic energy bleeds out into space: the fastest target takes 1d6 force damage for every 10 feet of movement they lose this way.
3. The Quotient of Fate (Divide Probability)
You flatten the probability curves of the targets, removing extremes and forcing predictability.
- For the duration, whenever a target makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, they cannot roll a d20.
- Instead, their roll is automatically replaced by a fixed integer: 20 divided by the number of targets (rounded down).
- Example: If you target 4 creatures, every d20 roll they make for the round is automatically a 5. If you target 2 creatures, every roll is a 10.
