Bowstaff

You cause the touched bow to become as tough and hard as steel. It can still be used normally as a ranged weapon, but you also can wield it in melee as a club (if a shortbow or crossbow) or quarterstaff (if a longbow). If the target bow is magical, its magical bonus on attack and damage rolls also applies when wielding the bowstaff in melee, as do any other magical properties that are not specific to its use as a ranged weapon or that it would provide to its ammunition.
