A bright streak emanates from your palm to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame. Each creature in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d10 fire damage and becomes blinded until your next end of turn on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Any creature that was in the 30-foot sphere will take 1d4 fire damage at the beginning of each turn, until they take an action during their turn to put out the fire on their body.
The fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 4th.
