Touch one willing creature, or choose one willing creature you can see within range that can hear you. End one effect causing that creature to have the Charmed or Frightened condition if the effect was created by a spell of level 2 or lower. If the effect was created by a higher-level spell, make a spellcasting ability check (DC 10 plus that spell’s level), ending the effect on a success. If the condition came from a magical effect that is not a spell, make the check against the effect’s save DC. If the effect has no save DC, the DM sets a DC based on its power. This spell does not end possession, curses, or other effects that do not cause either condition.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You automatically end the effect if it was created by a spell whose level is no higher than the level of the slot you use.
