When you cast this spell, an unnaturally cold but harmless fire erupts from your hands. Choose one of the following options.

• Restore Corpse. You target the majority of what's left of a burned, charred, cremated, dismembered, or dissolved corpse or the remains of a corpse of a Large or smaller creature that has been dead for no longer than 48 hours. The fire erupts from the remains and assembles an undamaged, intact corpse of the targeted creature. The fire cleans the body, closes all wounds, restores lost limbs, and neutralizes any poison or disease that was affecting the creature when it died.
• Recover Scriptures. You target an area that's no larger than 15 ft. in any dimension that contains burned, charred, destroyed, or dissolved papers, scrolls, books, and parchment. The fire will restore such items to their original, untarnished form in its entirety. This will not restore any magic contained in the scripture or images of such items.
• Reverse Rust. You target up to three of the following within range that have been destroyed or damaged, whether by misuse or by a harmful effect (such as a rust monster's Rust Metal ability); weapons, pieces of ammunition, armors, shields. The fire cleanses the objects of damage, and restores them to working order.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher, each spell option changes. Restore Corpse can target an additional corpse that's within range for each slot level above 3rd. Recover Scriptures can target an area that's 5 ft. larger in each dimension for each slot level above 3rd. Reverse Rust can target an addition weapon, armor, shield, or piece of ammunition for each slot level above 3rd.
