"You cannot solve every magical problem by throwing an axe... unless you cast Axeball."
— Thorgar Mind-Breaker, Arcane Muscle Expert
Created by an exceptionally stubborn Barbarian who refused to accept that "wizards are the only ones who can blow things up," this spell bypasses traditional arcane logic through sheer muscle memory and conviction.
You hurl two handaxes at a point you can see within range. Driven by a complete lack of understanding of how magic actually works, the axes collide mid-air and boomerang into an apocalyptic explosion of fiery metal.
Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The fire damages objects in the area and ignites flammable objects that aren't being worn or carried.
The Barbarian Clause. This spell is typically cast via a spell scroll. If a character with at least one level in the Barbarian class successfully reads and activates this scroll, the raw, unfiltered rage channeled into the axes causes the explosion to detonate with greater force. The damage is increased by 2d6 fire damage (for a total of 10d6 fire damage), and the user may choose to use their Strength modifier instead of an intellectual spellcasting ability to determine the spell save DC.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the base damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.

Note: This is a Joke Spell based of the song: I Cast Axeball by The Tanzanite Bard and all of the Inspiration came from that song and so the credit goes to The Tanzanite bard.

* - (Two handaxes, which are consumed by the explosion (and your barbarian's conviction).)
