You touch a creature that has died within the last minute, summoning its restless spirit from beyond the veil of death. Driven by a hunger for life, the undead spirit seeks out the nearest creature of its own race with the lowest remaining hit points and mercilessly devours its life force. Once its hunger is satisfied, the spirit returns to its original body, restoring the creature to life with 1 hit point.
If the spirit does not find a life force to devour before the concentration of the spell ends, the spirit dissipates - the effects of revivify no longer work on the body. Creatures (of the same race as the spirits past form) which are incapacitated, paralysed or unconcious will be targeted by the spirit.
This spell cannot revive a creature that has died of old age, nor can it restore any missing body parts.
If the spell is cast during combat, the spirit will take part in initiative, using the Trolls stat block (adjust to DMs liking). The spirit can only devour unconcious/paralysed/prone/incapacitated creatures.
If it is a players characters spirit that has been awoken, the player should control the spirit - with the SOLE intention of devouring a subject.
* - (A creature of the same race as the chosen creature, that will be consumed as part of the spell.)
