You weave an arcane defense around you. When you cast this spell, announce a school of magic. For the duration, when you are targeted by a spell from that school of 2nd level or lower, you may use a reaction to cause that spell to have no effect on you. If the spell is 3rd level, you may use a reaction to make an arcana check against the caster's spellcasting DC; if you succeed, the spell has no effect on you.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you may choose for the cast spell spell to have no effect on you if its level is less than the level of the spell slot you used. if it is equal to the level of spell slot you used, you may use a reaction to make an arcana check against the caster's spellcasting DC; if you succeed, the spell has no effect on you.
