Caustic Shot

Coating the ammo of the weapon used in the spell's casting in Acid, you make one ranged attack. The attack uses your spellcasting ability for the attack and damage rolls instead of using Strength or Dexterity. If the attack deals damage, it can be Acid damage or the weapon's normal damage type (your choice). If the attack deals damage to a target with Temporary Hit Points or a target affected by the Shield or Mage Armor spells, the attack deals additional damage qual to your spellcasting ability modifier.
